This program is built upon the model of “lead from where you are.” This philosophy recognizes that leaders are needed at all levels of the modern organization, particularly individuals who are able to solve problems quickly and deal with rapid change. Students select concentrations in management for non-profit organizations, training and development, or health service education.
The coursework focuses on the central aspects of leadership including communication studies, ethical lifelong learning abilities, research methods, and organizational dynamics and change. The capstone experience is the internship and seminar that integrate theory and practice and enable students to design their learning experiences with organizations they choose.
