This degree builds career skills through a focus on one of the four concentrations students may choose from:
In addition to concentration courses and a capstone consulting project, students in the Professional Leadership program take core leadership courses which focus on people in organizations. You will study communication strategies, leadership strategies, learning strategies, and strategies for leading organizations and people through change and transition. You will study ethical leadership and “power with” leadership. Organizations need leaders—people who know how to think, know how to work in teams, know how to employ strategy in the face of organizational politics, know how to build influence and power for ethical ends, and who know how to be creative and authentic.
